Integrations

Works with the systems you already have

Parallax ORP is API-first and multi-tenant. Connect your existing CAD, RMS, HR, and scheduling tools and unify that data into one readiness picture — no rip-and-replace required.

The integration problem in public safety IT

Most fire and EMS agencies run five or more systems that each hold a piece of the readiness puzzle: scheduling knows who is assigned, HR knows who is employed, the LMS knows who completed training, CAD knows who ran calls, and RMS holds the historical record. None of them were designed to answer the cross-domain question: is this person ready to respond right now?

Rip-and-replace is rarely viable — budget cycles, procurement timelines, labor agreements, and sunk integration costs make wholesale system replacement a multi-year project. Parallax ORP is designed to sit alongside your existing stack, ingesting data through APIs and presenting a unified readiness view without asking you to abandon tools that work.

Integration categories we support

Parallax ORP integrates across the vendor categories fire and EMS agencies rely on. Specific connector availability depends on your vendor's API access; we work with agencies during onboarding to map your stack and prioritize integrations by readiness impact.

  • Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD)

Common platforms: CentralSquare, Tyler New World, Hexagon, Motorola PremierOne

Incident volume, unit status, and call history feed workload and fatigue inputs. Dispatch context enriches readiness views with operational tempo data.

  • Records Management (RMS)

Common platforms: CentralSquare, Tyler, ImageTrend, ESO

Training records, incident reports, and personnel activity logs connect operational history to individual readiness profiles.

  • Human Resources & Personnel

Common platforms: Tyler Munis, UKG, Paycom, agency-specific HRIS

Employee records, leave balances, job classifications, and credential metadata form the foundation of per-person readiness tracking.

  • Scheduling & Timekeeping

Common platforms: Telestaff, CrewSense, Kronos, Aladtec, agency-built systems

Shift assignments, overtime, callbacks, and time-off data drive coverage views and fatigue scoring inputs.

  • Learning Management (LMS)

Common platforms: TargetSolutions, FireRescue1 Academy, agency LMS platforms

Completed and pending training modules sync to readiness views so credential and training gaps are visible alongside scheduling.

API-first architecture

Parallax ORP is built API-native from the ground up. Data flows into the platform through documented integration endpoints; readiness state flows out to dashboards, reports, and downstream systems your agency already uses. This architecture supports:

  • Bi-directional sync where vendor APIs permit (e.g., credential updates, training completions)
  • Scheduled batch imports for systems with limited real-time API access
  • Agency-specific field mapping during onboarding — your JPRs, your credential types, your shift definitions
  • Multi-tenant isolation so integration credentials and data boundaries are enforced per agency

Start with one integration, expand over time

You do not need to connect every system on day one. Most agencies start with the data source that unlocks the most immediate readiness value — often scheduling plus HR for coverage and credential visibility, or field training documentation for a current recruit class. Additional integrations layer in as your command staff validates the platform and identifies the next highest-impact data source.

This phased approach matches how public-sector procurement actually works: prove value with one module, expand with budget justification already in hand.

Integration security

Integration credentials are stored and scoped per tenant. Data in transit uses industry-standard encryption. For security questionnaires, sub-processor details, and data residency information, see our Security & Trust documentation or contact our security team during procurement review.
